MUSKOKA TAXI DRIVER APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
To Apply You Must:
- Have 3 years of continuous insurance with your name on the policy.
- Have a clear criminal record.
- Have possessed an Ontario driver’s license for 9 continuous years.
- Have a fairly clear drivers abstract with no major convictions. example, drunk driving, racing, careless driving, etc.
- Not have an impaired driving convictions.
- Speak fluent English and pass an English language test if need be.
- Have a reasonable knowledge of the Muskoka region and surrounding area.
- Have an excellent attitude and enjoy helping people throughout your work day.
The items stated above are the starting requirements. The other requirements are fulfilled as you start to enter the taxi driving profession.
Note: You will need some time to train, unpaid. The length of training depends on every individual (average of 1-2 weeks).
